Topeka North Outreach, Inc. (TNO) is a humanitarian relief organization comprised of local Christian churches that have united to extend a helping hand to the needy and vulnerable.

We share God's love by working together to alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity of those facing crises or emergency situations.

Chartered in 1971 as a 501(c)3 organization, this all-volunteer group serves residents of the Oakland and North Topeka communities. The group is comprised of approximately 20 churches from these communities which have united to extend a helping hand to those in need.

 

TNO has served Topeka for over 50 years. Our mission statement is "Reaching Out to Our Neighbor in Need with The Love of Christ".

 

Our organization offers a unique set of services that most other aid agencies do not offer. There are four main outreaches through which these services are provided:

 

• CARING COMMITTEE

  • Emergency assistance for families facing crisis situations.

• SEASONAL EVENTS

  • Christmas Adoption

  • Thanksgiving Food Boxes

  • Neighborhood Outreach

• YOUTH MINISTRY

  • Operation Backpack

  • J.A.M. - Jesus And Me After School Club

• VIP SENIOR LUNCHEONS

  • Weekly bible study and a homemade meal especially for those age 55 and older.
